Q: Which one is the best 4X4 mercedes benz glk class, audi q7,bmw x5/x6,porsche cayenne turbo s?
Tell which one gives good mileage,is luxurious and overall is also good.i m having a family of 4 members

A: This is really a matter of opinion as each are very different to drive.
it also depends on what your looking for because if your looking for a fast 4×4 its probably the porsche or the merc. however if you are looking for an off roading 4×4 then i would have to say the audi.
comfort would be the merc or the BMW. (x5)

again it all depends on what you want the car for.

my personal prefernce however would be the BMW x5 as i think this is by far the best looking of all the cars you have listed

Q: Does a Mercedes-Benz GLK Class have towing options?

A: Yes, you can order a towing package from the factory or you can order one as a dealer accessory. If you install it after it’s built, it takes between 4-5 hours to install and you may also have to upgrade the engine fan. Some early GLK’s came with a 400W fan which will need to be upgraded to a 600W to deal with the additional stress of towing.

The towing capacity is 3500 lbs, the tongue weight max is 350 lbs and it’s a class II.

Q: Should Mercedes-Benz eliminate the C-class, and GLK-class vehicles from their model lineup?
i mean this company has a long history of producing exclusive luxury saloons for the wealthy and financially well-off, as well as a long admirable racing heritage. to this day they produce cars which compete against bentley, ferrari, lamborghini, maserati and the like and those models remain very exclusive, yet the c-class which was introduced about 20 years ago to compete in the sporty near-luxury category dominated by the bmw 3-series made the mercedes mark more attainable to the average joe, thus lowering the prestige of the mercedes brand in general. i think it’s appropriate for bmw to have cars in this segment since bmw has a history of making small, sporty upscale-but-not-quite-luxo cars, but should mercedes-benz eliminate the c-class or even the c-class derivative glk suv from their lineup in order to restore their currently diminished brand image in america?

jaguar tried a similar tactic to increase sales by introducing the x-type to the u.s. market to compete in the sporty near-luxury category, but has since eliminated it from their model lineup and just focus on certain models to maintain their exclusivity and brand image. should mercedes follow jaguar’s example?

for the record, i think the near-luxury segment is an important segment and works great for bmw and audi, as well as for vw, infiniti and lexus to compete in, especially to attract younger sports-oriented buyers, however for a brand like mercedes which is all about big expensive luxury cars and exclusive sports cars/ roadsters it’s just not fitting for their brand image.

my friends and i like to refer to anything less than an e-class benz as a poseur mobile because they are for people who want to say they own a mercedes-benz, but can not actually afford a true benz.

A: Dude, you’re probably 16 and drive a piece of sh*t car because it’s all your broke a** could afford. Now take your pos car and go mall crawl with all the other stupid teenagers.

Q: should mercedes-benz remove the c-class and glk-class from their lineup?

A: In other words should manufacturers market to everyone or be snobs and only market to a few rich people? You sound like a 19th century British Elitist.

Q: Why doesn’t Mercedes benz make the GLK 300 (in germany), the 2009 C230 (in canada) for the U.S.?
I am not typing any false words that everyone knows isn’t true. about the GLK class: they make the 3.0 liter 228 hp engines in the U.S. so why cant Mercedes Benz put it in the GLK class for the U.S.

A: Because in America we don’t tolerate crap engines. Mercedes knows this too, which is why you will never see a (theoretical model here) a S180 sedan, since even someone who knows nothing about cars would understand that fitting the smallest engine in the largest car a company has to offer would make for really lame performance.

Q: Mercedes-Benz Vs. Audi????
One of my relatives is getting a new car soon. He likes the:

Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class
Audi A4 2.0T
Audi Q7 2.0T

He has a 2000 A4 Quattro right now and has never had a problem. Which you you choose?

Please no “Buy American” crap, we prefer German cars.

A: I had the Benz. It’s a great car. Germans cars are the best !

Q: GLK-Class aftermarket parts?

Q: Which car should I purchase?
I’m 18 & I’ll be needing it to get to university (which is an hour away). This is my first car, so It doesn’t have to have extreme things. My budget is 33k (I’m paying 10k, my dad is paying 15k and my mom 8k, they offered).
I also need a car that is good for road trips (especially since I’m moving states to attend the university & so I’ll like to make some trips back home etc..)
These are all new cars & I have seen them in person, I’m not very good with cars & I seem to like these all.
Here are the choices-
2010 Cadillac SRX
2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class
& my uncle is also selling his 1953 Bentley R-Type for 35k but he said he can sell it to me for 32k if I was interested (it is used).

Which should I go with?

A: Given the three choices, the Mercedes Benz GLK wins hands down in terms of reliability, performance and functionality. I like the 3.0 liter CDI option as it gives you better efficiency being ran on diesel fuel with after exhaust emission treatment . The emission device helps clean the environment of harmful NOx and particulates.

A: Hello Jason,
It is their car company. They should do what works. The V-’W has
“grown up” quite a bit, and that has worked out. The Rabbit nearly killed
V-W because they were unreliable. A car should be reliable above all!
Luxury is nice but if it doesn’t get you there and bring you home, it’s worthless.
Hoorah for the Model “T” Ford!

A: It may sound like that’s the best thing to do, but those entry-level cars make up the majority of Mercedes’ sales. I hate it when prestigious brands move down-market, but there’s a lot of money to be made in that segment.

BMW: 1-series, 3-series, X1, X3.
Audi: A3, A4, Q3, Q5.
Lexus: CTh, IS, RX.

Mercedes isn’t going to let this segment go unfilled. That’s why they have the C-class, GLK-class, and have plans to introduce the B-class to North America next year. And just because someone buys a C–class doesn’t always mean they couldn’t afford an S-class. Some people want a nice car but don’t have the need for something as large as the E-class or S-class.
