For more information and awesome write up about the 2011 Toyota Highlander Please visit the top car portal ClassyCars.org

Q: I have a 2011 toyota highlander with out gps system. Can I purchase the radio with gps system and install?

A: yes but way overpriced. get a music system at crutchfield.com and a gps at any electronics dept. it’s like $100 and it’s portable.

Q: Does the 2011 Toyota Highlander come with an over-acceleration BRAKE OVER-RIDE system?
Toyota has indicated that a safety brake over-ride system, to prevent over-accelerations, has been installed in SOME of its models, but not all until 2012—Question…Does anyone know for sure if the 2011 Toyota Highlander has this in it, or will it come in 2012? This will be the deciding factor on my purchase. Thanks!
Thanks Shrelkn….I suspected as much that toyota is hiding the fix or refusing to reveal to the public what is being done in terms of the over-ride system…effective today…I wil boycot Toyota. The Ford Edge, and the Chevy Equinox, and the Subaru are by far the most reliable vehicles, and there is no subversion on those companies part.

A: A little bit off but I think this states it best
NHTSA’s Advice to Toyota Customers
Toyota consumers should check the provided list of recalled vehicles and pay close attention to their vehicles. If you are experiencing any problems with your Toyota vehicle, park the vehicle in a safe place and immediately call your Toyota dealer or Toyota’s North American headquarters at 1-800-331-4331. Consumer Advisory

I wouldn’t buy a Toyota until they have made all of the changes, we don’t know if they have already or they are hiding the fact that they have. That being said, all car companies have been caught not doing what they were suppose to do. I would check out nhtsa for more info.

Q: 2011 Ford Explorer vs. 2011 Toyota Highlander?
I am having a REALLY hard time deciding which one to get. I was gonna get another car but then the Ford Explorer came out and I fell in love. However, looks can be deceiving… so what what would you recommend? My main concern is reliability; i want a car that will last me a long time and wont fall apart after 2 years.

We’ve had problems with Ford before and so have some of my friends…. should I trust Ford with the new Explorer? Or would the Highlander be the better choice?

A: i’ve never had a problem with either comany, although i’ve always driven compacts.

test drive both and see what you like, compare costs, warranties, and ask people who own each of them.

Q: Which car is better? I want more insight before i purchase a new car.?
The 2011 Toyota Highlander or the 2011 Rav4

A: they are so much different in size. both are very good but the highlander is much larger than the rav so depending on what you need or want first have to decide that. as far as both go they are very ood and realiable and price wish the rav will be low 20’s and highlander high 20’s low 30’s so again what do you want or need.

Q: Should I get leather seats?
I want to buy the new 2011 toyota highlander limited, and want to get leather seats. But heres the thing, I have a 14 year old, a 6 year old, and a 2 year old. The 14 year old and the 6 year old I’m not that worried about but the 2 year old, I’m worried. What do you think? Do you think my 2 year old will completely ruin the leather? Like wrinkle, rip, dirty, etc…

A: Leather is much easier to clean than cloth. Kool aid, soda, coffee, sticky candy, and every other kid mess wipes right off of leather with leather cleaner. Fabric, not so easy.

My 11 year old, 140,000 mile Lincoln is a veteran of two incredibly messy kids, two large dogs, and three moves and the leather is still in pretty good shape.

Q: Good car for mom of 4?
I’m a mom of 4 kids, 15, 12, 8, 6. I’m in the market for a new car, something that is spacious and inexpensive to buy in May. I AM NOT looking for minivans. I have looked at the 2011 Toyota Highlander, Ford Explorer, and Honda Pilot. I do not want to pay as much for gas (even though I understand that aspect of SUV’s). So which one of these is best? Or any other suggestions?
Budget is 20,000-30,000$

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carquotes.fateback.com

Q: What would I have to earn a year to live like this?
I want to live in the states between West Virginia and New Hampshire(Like Maryland, Connecticut etc) but not New York

I want a nice house that is on the newer side

I want 3 dogs(because I will be living there by myself until I meet someone) a Newfoundland, Standard Poodle and a Great Dane

And I want to drive a 2011 Toyota Highlander Hybrid(but I am not moving out till another 3 years so I can get it now if I want)

So what will I have to make annually to have those things? And for all you people who are going to say “yeah right” or “in your dreams” etc please don’t answer if you are going to say that. I have dreams/goals just like everyone else does.

A: You need to give more specifics on the house, that is going to be your single biggest cost. Also, do you plan to rent or buy?

Q: Which Car do you like out of this list?
Volvo XC90- http://www.volvocars.com/us/all-cars/volvo-xc90/Pages/default.aspx
Mercedes-Benz GLK- http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehicles/class/class-GLK
Toyota Highlander- http://www.toyota.com/highlander/
Toyota 4Runner- http://www.toyota.com/4runner/
Infiniti EX35- http://www.infinitiusa.com/ex/

Which 2011 car and why?

A: I was in your shoes 5 months ago except I had Acura RDX and Volvo XC60 in the mix too. I have test droven all these cars except Volvo (it has the best safety, thats all).

I ended up buying EX35 and am very happy wth my choice so far. It’s cheaper than all of them comparing the features that comes with it. It’s interior is not comparable to other cars in your list. It’s powerful under the hood (300 HP). I drove it on the snow and it passed its test (buy the AWD).

However, if you want to buy an SUV for mostly off-roads, EX is not your choice and you might wanna get Toyota 4Runner.

If you have no rush to buy, wait till the 2012 models are about to surf and then go for 2011 so you can get hell of a discount and insentives from dealers. I got $8000 under MSRP the same way.

Good luck!

Q: How good and reliable is the new 2011 Ford Explorer?
I looking to buy a 7 seater SUV and I really fell in love instantly with new Explorer with its bold and aggressive look. FORD really started to grab my attention with all its new vehicles lately in fact.

I know that the Highlander and Pilot are very popular in this category for a longtime now coming from the highly reliable Japanese brands.

But I am not able to get out of the explorer fever. I would like to keep this for good ( I mean for a very longtime ) which means it has to be as reliable as a HONDA/TOYOTA. Though FORD is claiming that they are as reliable or even better than them now, couple of things that are really bothering me and I fear if I am going to regret later on for not going with the proven and trusted names.

1. Since I want it for a longtime, Can I trust FORD and buy it with same peace of mind that I would get from buying a HONDA/TOYOTA?
2. I have no idea of FORD vehicles and their reliability history, so I am basically novice talking about FORD. So people who have knowledge have to help me educate. I do not like to buy something this expensive with blind knowledge.

When you don’t know something, best thing to do is ask those who know about it!..I just don’t want to regret maybe 5 yrs down the lane that I have chosen a bad product without properly checking facts…Thank you

A: I would go with the Ford, I’m still driving my ‘97..

Q: does the 2011 cadillac cts coupe have a hatch back?

A: No.

Q: Which is faster? A 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe or a Chevrolet Corvette C6 Coupe?
not the ZO6 or the ZR1, just the normal C6 Corvette.

A: The CTS-V is the fastest highest Hp. production Caddy to date.

However the Corvette has faster quarter mile times it clocks the quarter in 11.6 seconds and the Caddy comes in at 12.1 seconds so the numbers say the caddy is slower than the C6.

Q: Cts-V Coupe vs Mercedes C63 amg?
I am deciding between a 2011 Cadillac cts-V coupe and the new soon to be released 2012 C63 amg redesign is amazing. I have wanted the c63 for Years and the new redesign is really making me lean towards it. On the other hand the cts v coupe gully optioned is 2 grand cheaper and well over 100 more horsepower than that of the c63. It’s also a great looking car and the recaro seats and microfiber trim is really convincing as well. Please help me, thank you.

A: They’re both evil-fast and good-looking. I lean towards the AMG, mainly for the wilder feel and the magnificent noise coming from the tailpipes.

Q: What vehicle is better?
So I’m in need of a new vehicle and pronto. I totaled my vehicle after only having it for 1 week. I have a few vehicles in mind but still kind of clueless as to what to get. Please help. Any advice is useful. Take in to consideration I’m 24 and into the sporty look, I also think it’s very imprortant to have top safety features and great interior options available. I’ve narrowed the list down to a few of the following:
2011 BMW 3 series
2011 Cadillac CTS Sport Sedan
2011 Cadillac SRX Crossover (suv)
2011 NIssan Maxima

A: Im on the with you on this one.

For the car it is a hands down BMW. The others are NO comparison to the Bimmer. And the face that you have to ask between fine German engineering and GM junk worries me even more.

Also the fact that you totaled your car after only having it a week really makes me wonder if you are really ready for the responsibility that comes with owning such a fine motor car as the BMW. Of course when you total this one next week at least you will be safe.

So, here it is, the Bimmer is the best car on your list, but I really question if you are ready to own one.

Q: What would be a better car to have?
2004 cadillac cts or 2011 Honda accord?

A: 2011 Honda Accord.
The CTS is nice, but a 7 year old one is a gamble. they aren’t the most reliable vehicles in the world.

Q: What do you think would be the best mafia car??? WILL GIVE BEST ANSWER!!!!?
What do you think would be the best mafia boss/staff car out or these:

Cadillac CTS
Lincoln MKZ
2011 Dodge Charger
Audi A4

A: charger that thing just looks bada** with the redesign. Plus 375 horses aint bad either. If you had the MKS with ecoboost then i would go with that over the chager.

Q: What Is The Name For The Doors On This Car?
I WANT SOME DOORS LIKE THAT ON MY CAR AND I NEED TO KNOW THE NAME…

http://www.cadillac.com/ctsCoupe/2011/?seo=goo_|_2008_Cadillac_Retention_|_IMG_Cadillac_CTS_Coupe_|_Cadillac_CTS_Coupe_HV_|_cadillac_cts_v_coupe&gclid=CKuXiO2WzqYCFYHu7QodtiJgIg

A: What Arrrreeee you talking about?

Q: DO ANYBODY KNOW ANOTHER CAR THAT IS ”BAD AS IN CUTE” AND HAS THE DOORS LIKE THIS CAR?
http://www.cadillac.com/ctsCoupe/2011/?seo=goo_|_2008_Cadillac_Retention_|_IMG_Cadillac_CTS_Coupe_|_Cadillac_CTS_Coupe_HV_|_cadillac_cts_v_coupe&gclid=CKuXiO2WzqYCFYHu7QodtiJgIg

I WANT ALOT OF CARS THAT HAS THAT KIND OF DOOR BUT I WANT IT TO LOOK BETTER…

THANX

A: What the hell is with you and your obession over car doors? Who buys a car because of the doors? Really. You have asekd this 5 times at least. They are flipping DOORS. They have no impact on the reliability, comfort, value or driveability of the car.

Q: Which one is better as a first car?
I just got my license and am looking for my first car. My parents are letting me choose my car and I’m not one that goes for looks as I do performance and comfort. Although I still do care if the car looks nice or not. Based on my liking, I have narrowed it down to the Ford Taurus, Hyundai Sonata, and Cadillac CTS. I would really like the CTS but that’s only if the deal works out (which it probably won’t) so it’s most likely going to be between the first two. Can anyone list the pros and cons of each? These will all be new and 2011 models.

A: Apparently ppl here dnt get the “list pros and cons”. Anyway:

Sonata:
+better fuel economy
+better warranty
+cheaper
+likely to be more reliable (both cars are too new to kno for sure)
+Turbo model
+Hybrid availability
-not as good lookin
-interior fit & finish not as good as Ford
-hard backseat
-not as luxurious

Taurus:
+better looking
+bigger
+Ford Sync
+better interior
+SHO model
-a bit thirsty on gas
-more expensive (pending options)

The Sonata is more practical. However, when optioned to the hilt, you can get more in a Taurus than the Sonata. Only problem is, you’ll be paying thousands more. If money were not a problem, i’d get the Taurus. Too bad it is for me, ,which means I’d have to pick the Sonata. Hope I helped Good Luck to you

Q: Car people: help me pick out a car?
Right now I currently have a few cars in mind. I am buying with cash, so I want a car that will really give me a run for my money. The CTS is my favorite and drives the best.. and yes, I do understand the cost of repairs. Please help me pick! Thanks

2007 Cadillac CTS w/ 30k miles 2.8L v6 – 18mpg city sunroof, heated seats, leather, etc
2010 Dodge Charger w/ 25k miles base model – 16mpg city
2011 Volkswagen Jetta base model – 24mpg but engine is very weak and very loud
2010 Ford Fusion w/ 30k miles – 22mpg city somewhat weak engine

A: Cadillac No
Charger Good if it has the v8 then it has lots of power and torque,
Fusion Good cheap to maintain, high quality reliable
Jetta No unreliable and expensive.

Q: DO ANYBODY KNOW ANOTHER CAR THAT IS ”BAD AS IN CUTE” AND HAS THE DOORS LIKE THIS CAR?
http://www.cadillac.com/ctsCoupe/2011/?seo=goo_|_2008_Cadillac_Retention_|_IMG_Cadillac_CTS_Coupe_|_Cadillac_CTS_Coupe_HV_|_cadillac_cts_v_coupe&gclid=CKuXiO2WzqYCFYHu7QodtiJgIg

I WANT A BETTER LOOKIN CAR, BUT WITH THE SAME CARS

A: What the hell is with you and your obession over car doors? Who buys a car because of the doors? Really. You have asekd this 5 times at least. They are flipping DOORS. They have no impact on the reliability, comfort, value or driveability of the car.

Q: What is your opinion on the 2011 Honda Accord Crosstour?
This is the EX-L trim with navigation. MSRP at $37,000
Please state the pros and cons etc…………..

A: Accord is the best family sedan of Honda.

pros – Family sedan
– Fuel economy (35mpgs not bad to me)
– Reliability

cons – Price (to me)

overall i think Honda makes really good cars!

Q: Ford Edge or Honda Accord Crosstour?
I am looking to buy a crossover that is spacey, comfortable, good MPG, reliable, good in bad weather car and overall a pleasant driving experience. It doesn’t need to be a fun driving experience, it just needs to be practical. Im deciding between the Ford Edge SEL and the crosstour EX-L with NAV. Both will be 2011 and both are around $37,000. Which car do you recommend?
For the edge, I have heard issues about the My Ford Touch. Like lag and the voice recognition. If anyone here owns either of these cars please mention the pros and cons and any issues you have had with them.

A: I prefer the edge. Its a good size crossover/suv that you can get with 4wd and a ton of options. plus the back seat reclines. Its one of the few crossovers/suvs that drives like a car. It doesn’t have that suv feel. You know what I mean?

Q: which car is better for my dad.?
hes a 50 yr old doctor. he’s always being called in to work so he’s in his car a lot. he definitely wants a new honda because his 02 accord did him well but i just got my license and he has some extra $ so hes gonna buy a new one and pass the 02 to me:) ha. but he’s lookin at either a civic sedan, civic hybrid, accord crosstour, accord coupe, accord sedan and hes lookin at either 2010 or 2011 models. any suggestions???

A: Since he’s a Doctor he really deserves better. I suggest the Cadillac CTS – V Coupe that can be seen here: http://www.cadillac.com/?seo=msn_|_2008_Cadillac_Retention_|_IMG_Cadillac_Make_|_Cadillac_Exact_|_cadillac

Q: what is the music from the volvo xc60 advert ?
if it helps the advert is on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShbPIiUkszc&feature=related

A: SALEM AL FAKIR – IT’S ONLY YOU (PART II)

Q: Volvo XC60 features ranked 1-10?
Where would I find the features of the new Volvo XC60 ranked by Volvo fans? If you can get a link that would be good

A: 1—10.

Q: volvo xc60 first car. 16 yr old?
im turning 16 and what do you think of a volvo xc60 as a first car

A: It’s not really a first car kind of thing.
Go for an S40 or S60 if you really want a Volvo.

Q: 2011 Volvo XC60 T6… First time Volvo Owner…?
I’m helping my Uncle look for some new cars/trucks/SUV’s/Crossovers/etc. for my Aunt – These would be 2011 Year make cars (so new of course…)

We have narrowed it down to a few options really… He doesn’t want her to get a van again (Previous car was a 2007 Honda Oddesty(Spelling?) Touring Van), so i suggested this nice 2011 XC60 Crossover… Possibly even the R-Design too…?

They have never owned a Volvo before as I stated above, What should they really know before buying this crossover if they really wanted too…?

For the record I own a 2009 T6 Volvo XC70 in the family.

A: Woah… that’s a nice car.

They probably should know a few things though

1. Cars like this car really hard to work on if something goes haywire (if it’s a Volvo it shouldn’t anyway)… but you never know.

2. The cars are extremely reliable. Some of the best on the road. Plus, the mostly are equipped with a lot of stabilizers and other equipment to keep the car safe if you wanted to actually take your crossover into an outback type of area.

3. They are very expensive

It’s a win win

PS ~
Darn you drive a nice auto… im driving a 60’s Ford Pick em’ up lol

Q: 2010 Volvo XC60 R-Design.?
I currently have a 2008 Volvo XC90 V8 Executive Edition;
My Husband owns a 2010 Volvo S80 V8 Executive Edition we have recently purchased from our Volvo dealer in the area; he replaced his 2005 BMW 325i Well…. My daughter is going back off to collage soon and we would like to get her a car… yes, you’ve guessed it…. we are looking into another volvo…. so my question is… if we didn’t want to get another volvo FOR HER…. “Would it be crazy to give Claire (Daughter) my XC90 Executive V8; and for me to buy a brand new 2010 Volvo XC60 T6 AWD R-Design??? Pete (Husband) ’s Idea. Just asking you guys what you think… Thanks (PS. I have to say I love the 2010 Volvo XC90, and fortunately we have the money to do this… Thanks for your opinions again guys

A: That would be nice for her! She seems lucky then!

Q: What is the name of the song in the new promotional ad for the Volvo XC60? I saw the ad at the Miami auto show?

A: I adore you by Melpo Mene

Q: Which car is safer – the latest Volvo S60/V60 or Volvo Xc60?
The xc60 would presumably have a higher centre of gravity but its rollover rating is 4/5 – the same as the average car – so maybe not much and it has rollover protection any way. The xc60 is also heavier.

A: Look at it from a few different perspectives.
First off, both are volvos, meaning theyre safe and share a lot of similar safety features that help you in an accident like the side impact protection system, the whiplash protection system, etc.
The S60 might pack some more modern things like the city safety system and the pedestrian detection system, which is a different type of safety.
a lot of the ratings come from looking at collisions and seeing how much the “safety box”: around where passengers sit has been impacted. The goal is that the front and back crumple but the cabin area stays unchaged and as a square.
The S60 is a sedan and is more lower to the ground so it may be a bit more stable when you are hit. But at the same time the xc60 is heavier and more solid so unles youre in a full force 60mph head on colision or something crazy, the xc60 might be safer just because its bigger. But then remember both cars are bassicaly built off of the same platform/frame. The XC90 however is a different story, but the xc60 is more or less the AWD wagon version of the s60.

Q: What are fans top rankings of the Volvo XC60?

A: I agree with Iora.

Q: how did fans rank the new volvo xc60?
where can I find the top 10 features of the Volvo XC60?

A: Yahoo.com–auto

Q: what is the song from the new Volvo XC60 (2009)?
the question has already been asked but there wasn’t an answer so im trying again, it has an elephant that squirts water across the car, it auto brakes, i just want to know what the song is, it’s a bit techno and i love it, dying to know what it is, any help please, i’ve been trying to find it for days now

A: is this the song you’ve been looking for?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sUGg38DhIQ

as used in the new Volvo xc60 advert see below:

http://www.visit4info.com/advert/Self-Stopping-Technology-in-XC-60-Volvo-XC60/75553

Q: What is the residual on a 2010 Volvo XC60. 3 year lease 15,000 miles a year with a msrp of $40,090?

A: Estimates for the Volvo XC60’s residual value is indeed encouraging. Based upon multiple accepted used car guides, the 2.4D, D5 SE, and 2.4 SE will retain 45-47% of its original purchase price 3 years and 60,000 miles after purchase.

With 45,000 miles, the residual value would straddle 50%, earning the XC60 a slot alongside the top-tier vehicles in its class. Your residual value should theoretically fall around $19,000 or so.

I hope this helps.

Q: where did the fans of the volvo xc60 rank its features?

A: Game section.

Q: Should I buy the Volvo xc60 or s80?
and what color best suits them?
Ps don’t tell me to buy other cars cuz I will buy either of these.

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: what is the correct order of the car features on the xc60 volvo?
here are the features- cargo volume, blind spot info system, front LED lamps, high performance sound system, rear parking camera, whiplash protection, panoramic roof, and city safety

A: Don’t understand your question–they’re all important, some more than others, but there’s no real “order” for them. The sound system isn’t really a safety feature, and neither is cargo volume, though.

Q: What is the average cost of an all black car?
I got a black volkswagen tiguan for my 16th birthday and I want to make it all black, but I do not know what it will cost me. I want the VW sign black, black rims, tinted windows, the black covering on the lights, etc. Thanks for the help

A: You cant do the headlights, so it will not be all black. One can of VHT will do the tail lights and turn signals (no more than 3 coats), so that is $10, the windows will be about $250. Wheels can be from $500 to $1500 depending on your taste. I would powder coat the emblem, so figure another $30 roughly.

Q: Appropiate cars for a 16 year old girl?
- Volvo S40 or S60
- Nissan Altima
- Honda Accord
- Volkswagen Jetta
- Volkswagen tiguan

would these be good choices my parents can afford them but im worried i would look like a snob driving these?

A: You should call your insurance company and get a quote on each other those cars to see how much it would be for whatever coverage you’re gonna get. My guess is that the Volvo would be the most expensive to insure, but I’m not sure.

You won’t look like a snob in any of those cars. It’s not like you’re driving a 2011 Escalade with 23′ rims lol, you’ll be okay!

Q: would you buy a volkswagen?
I know a guy that works for a VW dealer that we give me a discount on everything in the VW dealer. Here’s the top 3 VWs im thinking of getting:
1) VW Jetta TDI
2) VW Jetta
3) VW Tiguan

Should I buy a Volkswagen? Ideas?Thoughts?Opinions?
here’s a link: http://www.vw.com/

A: Jetta and Jetta TDI are great. I currently own a 2009 gas Jetta. I have had it a little over a year and has not had any problems. However, I must warn you that the Tiguan is having major issues. I work at a VW dealership and many Tiguans are coming back for mechanical defects. You may want to wait another year before thinking about a Tiguan. It’s still new and VW is working out the quirks. In the end, go with a jetta. It’s very reliable.

Q: Which is the most flashy and why?
Volkswagen Tiguan / Vauxhall Corsa WXR(Opel Corsa OPC) / Volkswagen Eos / BMW Series 1 ???

A: BMW 1 Series.

First, it’s a BMW.
Second, the 135i will rocket from 0-60 in 5.1 seconds.
That’s as fast as the BMW ///M3 Convertible!

Q: what should i name my car?
it’s a red 2011 volkswagen tiguan (look it up if you dont know) and I dont care about boy/girl preference. thanksss

A: The Tiguanan.
.

Q: Whats more affluent car?
A Volkswagen Tiguan or a Toyota Highlander?

A: A Maybach.

Q: Which of these cars is best?
Audi Q5
BMW X3
Volkswagen Tiguan
Volkswagen Touareg

A: BMW X3

Q: long term nice, cheap rental car?
i need a nice car for now before moving to NY..
ex: Volkswagen Tiguan

UNDER $300/mo.
for 3 months

A: try using a corporate coupon code from http://www.rentalcarscode.com/

Q: What would you do about this car situation?
I have a 08′ volkswagen tiguan that has 3 seats in the back and two in the front. It was pretty spacious when we had my daughter in her booster seat and then my son in his car seat, and it was my car that i drove to work, basically to everywhere. My husband has a BMW 3 that is his work car and we would occasionally take it out to dinner or to a friends house, but never to just the grocery store.

Over the past 2 months, we have taken in my 13 year old niece and 15 year old nephew and it’s gotten extremely crowded in the back of my tiguan and we can’t even go in one car anymore since we have 6 people. And when its just the kids and I, the 15 y/o and the 13 y/o fight over who sits in the front because they hate being back there crowded by the car seat. They are also fairly tall kids with lanky legs and complain about how there is no room back there for their legs.

My husband is currently going through testing and processing to join the army and we are trying to figure out the car situation before he leaves. We have decided it may be best to get me a new, bigger car and sell both of our cars and get our 15 year old nephew a car to drive in but my husband can also drive until he leaves for basic training and then it’ll be our nephews car. Nothing too expensive, something nice but not top of the line since he’s a new driver.

What would you do in this situation? And what kind of family car would you suggest? Do you think we should look for the bucket seats and then the bench in the back, or two benches in the backseat and then two up front? And what kind of car would you suggest for a 15 year old that is reasonably priced?

Thanks!
It would be my husbands car until he left. We were thinking maybe a nissan exterra but like an 06′ or an 02′ jeep liberty. The car wouldn’t be just handed to him, my husband would have it a few months and he wouldn’t have his license until next august anyway. We don’t want to keep the bmw though, too expensive to just sit in the garage for 3-6 years.
Helen, exactly…my husband would never let my 15 year old drive his BMW, ever.

A: I agree a full suze minivan or a SUV, one with comfy 3rd row seating. I read somewhere the Ford Flex rates high on backseat comfort and seats 7 or or your nephew and hubs, something safe but used that you could carry liability only on. Maybe a used volvo or subaru, or even a basic camry or accord? We have a 3 year old Camry and we love it. My good friend’s son wrecked her car 2 days after turning 16, so you don;t want a big investment.

Q: What is the average cost for a 16 year olds car?
Hi,
I was just wondering what the average car cost is for a 16 year old
Pls tell me if im being ridiculous in these choices in cars but would a nissan altima, ford esxcape, or a volkswagen passat, or volkswagen tiguan are too nice of cars for a 16 year old.
Oh and most of my friends will be getting like new trucks, or their parents 4 year old Lexus’s (dont comment on that i know that’s screams spoiled).

thanks so much

A: Anything between 1500-2500 is ok as accidents will happen after passing their test, its a known fact,.

Q: I bet you can’t find this song, can you?
i heard this song on an ad for a 2009 car released in australia, possibly the volkswagen tiguan. i tried googling the lyrics but the song was nowhere, and volkswagen recently removed their ad section on the website so i can’t give a link.

lyrics: pack your bags and sound the whistles, i’ll be heading straight for you. don’t be shocked but i’ve been thinking there’s some things that we could do.

it’s sung by a woman, with light percussion and a guitar in the background. it’s very sweet and acoustic.

if you can find the song, you’ll be my god forever!
and i’ll also give you my firstborn, a la rumplestiltzken.
and please don’t tell me to search it at a lyrics website. yahooanswers is my last resort. i’ve tried ever website/google addon, EVERYTHING.

A: Dunno, but I found your commercial on Youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_a0Nou-wnxw

EDIT: If you look at the “more info” blurb under the name of the poster of this video, he claims there is no title for this song. I guess this is as good as you’ll get.

Q: Could someone please tell me the difference?
i am looking to buy a tiguan, but i want to buy a sports one. i would like to know what is the “R Line” version and the Escape Version.

Thanks also if anyone has one what are they like to drive

http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/#/new/tiguan/which-model/compare/exterior/

A: The R-Line gives you all the spec of a Volkswagen R Car eg. Golf R32. You get better seats than the Escape, the suspension is slightly lower, bigger alloys and Different front and rear bumpers. The escape is a middle of the range model, so if you want a sports one buy the R-line and you won’t be disappointed ! Cheers Luke

Q: Looking into getting a new car, any suggestions?
I am looking into getting a new car. I would prefer an AWD but it may not be a deal breaker if I find the right car. I would like a car with a decent amount of power but I am not looking for a racing car just something better than my 2002 Focus. I’m interested in compacts, sedans, and crossovers/SUV’s. I have been more interested in crossover/SUVs as of late. I have been looking around at: Nissan Rogue, Honda CR-V, Mazda 3 5-door, Volkswagen Tiguan, Subaru Forester and Nissan Altima.

Extra components I like are: moon roof, heated seats, car-starting option, radio adjusting on the steering wheel and blue-tooth. My ideal car would have those options but I’m probably shooting too high. Any suggestions or views on any car you like would be great. Thanks!

A: dont get the tiguan car and driver gave it its lowest rating when comparing small suvs/cross overs. With it having the turbo 4 cylinder you need to use premium grade gas and its eats gas as if it was a full size suv. Look at the Rav 4 that has been on car and driver top 10 list usually at one for small crossovers. Out of your list i would go subaru forester. Also look at the jeep patroit and compass. My little sister had a patroit limited 4X4. She opted for the larger 4 cylinder (its not a turbo so regular grade gas) I think the output is something like 180 or 200 horses. She had everything your saying you wanted i know for sure with the exception of the bluetooth i never asked about that. She would see 30 mpg highway and usually 25-28 in the city. She lives in michigan and the 4X4 never had a problem in the winter.

Q: whichh car shoulld i gett?
so i jus passed my road test and ill be getting a car for my birthday i was wondering what car i should get…i like white so i only want a car that looks good in white…also i want a bigger car like a crossover….a couple i have looked at were the volkswagen tiguan, nissan rogue, honda crv, jeep liberty, hyundai tuscon and santa fe ….n e one have n e thing to say bout these cars or n e other types of cars u can suggessst??

A: these questions are so stupid. why would you want an opinion form people you don’t know who will never see you driving it anyway

Q: I need help choosing a car!?
Im a 16 year old girl and my birthday is in just a few months. My dad perfers used cars because you loose so much money on new ones, so my price range is around 13,000 but used not new and i dont want it to be really old looking!
I really like the volkswagen tiguan or touareg, lexus 470, acura mdx, buick enclave, gmc acadia, like that kind of look.
I also love the jeep liberty, but with its bad gas mileage, and such bad reviews i doubt my dad will let me get it.

please help me, thanks a ton <3

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carquotes.sinfree.net

Q: What do you think of the Volkswagen Routan minivan? Is it really a Chrysler in disquise?
Why is it that when ever I a see a Volkswagen Routan (which isn’t often)–that it looks so similar to a Chrysler Town & Country? I like the way it looks and all, but if it’s really a Chrysler, then I wouldn’t want it because they are said to be junk. Are there any good minivans left out there?

A: I think that your hunch about the Volkswagen Routan minivan being a Chrysler in disquise is right.

If you are going to buy a mini van go with this one.

http://www.consumersearch.com/minivan-reviews/2010-honda-odyssey

Q: How to use Volkswagen Routan MP3 Player?
We bought a 2009 Volkswagen (VW) Routan this past month. There is a USB port in the stereo system. I was told that is where we can plug in my mp3 player but it isn’t working. Anyone ever used this option? What am I doing wrong?
Okay, DUH on the owners manual. Really? I think I did that. There is no info on how to hook it up. I also Googled the question and did as much other research as I could.

A: How about reading the owner’s manual?

Q: what is the volkswagen routan commercial song?
there was a song on one of the volkswagen routan. I relly want to no wat that song is called

A: The Grass Roots – Let’s Live For Today

Q: What is the song played in the commercial for the Volkswagen Routan 2009?
It’s and add with old hippies in it.

A: The song is called “Let’s Live For Today” by the Grassroots, ive been lookin 4 it foever.

Q: I have been interested in the new Volkswagen Routan, anyone have any information?
Is the interior better than the Chrysler Town and Country? What about the price, is it priced well?

A: It should be the same….

Q: Volkswagen Routan Commercial Song?
Does anyone know the song in the new Volkswagen Routan commercial. Its the one where the old people see all the stuff from their past, and then they see the car and everyones all happy.
The lyrics are something like …’when everyone was planning their future i was busy loving you….’
I Googled the lyrics and nothing showed up.
Thanks!

A: I was looking for it too, I thought it sounded very catchy.
After a couple minutes of looking through google and such I found the song is “Let’s live for today” by “The Grass Roots”, I’m positive

Edit: Here’s the youtube video for it

Q: Need to find video for the VW / Volkswagen Routan “blue one” commercial?
I just saw this commercial on tv and can’t find it online anywhere to show my boyfriend. Please help me find the link. The whole commercial you see a blue Routan driving around town and people punching eachother playing the slug bug game. At the end it’s like 4 boys sitting in the van with their dad asking if they can do it again. The announcer closes saying something about it being the only van with the spirit of a VW.

A: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRkOE2doOZ4

Q: What brand is the audio system on the 2009 Volkswagen Routan S?

A: Panasonic

Q: Should Obama get a Black Volkswagen Routan?
Since he is the BLACK FUEHRER!!!

I think the Taxpayers should get him a White one, since he doesnt liek White people and he is a Narcissist, so he should get the Base model.

What do YOU think?
Common Sense you are my hero as the Democrats are Racists.

A: He should drive a Ford Focus, focus bawards= SUC OF

Q: 2009 Volkswagen Routan – what is it?
Which chassis did Volkswagen base the Routan minivan on? Is it built on a Passat chassis or is it an all new vehicle?

A: Actually, believe it or not, the Routan is based on Chrysler’s Town and Country minivan. It’s far from an exact copy; the interior of the Routan is a lot nicer but a lot of the body panels are the same as in the Chrysler. I’m not exactly sure why Volkswagen would do this, or even build a minivan to begin with! Strange things happening in the automobile world

Q: Volkswagen Routan has a low roof?
Is it me, or does your head hit the roof of the Routan too?

A: I haven’t had a problem with it. The roof is higher than most all sedans so unless you’re hitting your head there you shouldn’t hit your head in the Routan.

It’s an inch lower than a Chevrolet Suburban. Maybe you have the seat all the way up. Short people need it there.

Q: What Do You Think about the Volkswagen Routan ? Is it A Good Car ?
were deciding on getting a new car , and we have our interests set on a volkswagen Routan , and we think the outside of the car is real attractive , sporty and ambitious ,the inside as well but i need reviews and opinions of actuall Routan owners , what do you think about this car , is it a good car from the inside and out ? is it roomy , spacious , does it have 4-wheel drive and also how many can this car sit i have 2 kids and a husband and in the winter we love to go skiing so in other words we mostly travel uphill , so does the Routan have 4 wheel drive as i asked earlier, and my kids invite there friends over alot of the times , so we need a car that can sit around 7 or 6 ? so i really need your help ! thank-you so much for answering my question !

A: It is a Chrysler minivan, with VW badges, for North America only. Everything that you see for and against the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan apply.

4WD no, not even AWD, but the Chrysler minivans are great in the winter – one of the best if not the best in snow and ice up to 8 inches deep.

It has plenty of room for your desires.

Q: What Do You Think about the Volkswagen Routan ? Please I need good answers ! ?
Is it A Good Car ?

A: Volkswagen Routan:

~The VW Routan is newly introduced to the mini-van buyers, and shares the platform, and engine with the Dodge/Chrysler mini-vans.

~When you drive the car, it does not feel as underpowered as most Chrysler minivans. But overall, the interior is roomy, with modest materials used for the dash-board and other interior parts.

~The van seats 7~8.

~Sadly, the van does not offer 4wd. However, as I have tested the car 3 weeks ago, the Routan handles confidently and safely with snow tires in the snow.

~The Routan’s ride is soft, yet with a hint of agile-playfulness, as expected of VW vehicles. As a wrap up, I have to agree that the looks of the Routan is magnificent, but one other van that really stands out and is up for comparison, is the Honda Oddyssy…because of it’s great reliability, safety ratings, and overall quality.

~Lastly, test drive the Rountan as much as possible. Also, test the car on steep hills… feel the brakes when slowing down..etc. Get a feel for the car first, before purchasing it.

~Good luck! hope the car meets your satisfaction~

Q: Which car is better: the Volkswagen Routan or the Chrysler Town & Country?

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.yoll.net

Q: Im debating whether to buy Toyota Sienna or Volkswagen Routan … which one is better?

A: Sienna. A perennial all-star on any publication’s “Best” list. We’ve had one since ‘04, no issues whatsoever.

The Routan is just a Chrysler minivan with VM badging. Chrysler engine, transmission, electricals, etc… it was a quick way for VW to get a minivan on the market.

For more information and awesome write up about the Toyota Venza Please visit the top car portal ClassyCars.org

Q: help finding a good car?
ok so i just decided to ask, my family and i have been looking for a new car. We found the Toyota Venza which we all really liked. Is that a good car? if not do you no of any other good cars that are cheap?
thanks

A: It should be 4-door, 4-cyls, not sporty. I would prefer Honda or Toyota… First time drivers usually have much more expensive car insurance, and it depends from car. You should compare insurance rates while choosing the car – for example here – carinsurance.yoll.net

Q: Car grille color change?
I was wondering how much it would cost in Southern California to change the color of a chrome Toyota Venza grille to black? I was thinking it was less than a 100, but anyone do something similar and can give me a ball park? And before you tell me to “call around” all the shops tell me to bring in the car first. So that’s why I am asking here.

A: Special primer will have to be applied $50 sounds a fair price.

Q: What Toyota is better?
Venza OR Camry 2009
if anyone owns a Camry or Venza and love or dislike their car please share…

A: I have a 99 Camry Solara from new. I LOVE it! Let me repeat this.. I LOVE it!! I imagine the Venza is very good but it is a MUCH different car. A Camry is a more standard 4 door car, while a Venza is more of a mix between a 4 door car and a large station wagon. I personally find the Venza to feel clunky however, and its seats are said by many to be cheezy and uncomfortable, not being padded well, and causing back aches. While Toyota is still a good car…so far…it has greatly cheapened up its cars by placing cheap plastic and gooey rubber on the dash boards(just touch the Venza dash–yuk) and interiors, so be aware of that. Even the new Camry’s are filled with cheesy Chrysler type plastics and phony rubber dashes. I love my old 99 Camry..but it is not likely that I will buy a new Toyota again unless all the quality factors improve..not just engine reliability. A new car should look nice, and be built well, not just run good.

Q: Do you think the 2010 Lexus rx350 is just a fancy toyota venza?
just like how people say the es350 is a “dolled up Camry”

so do you think the rx350 is similar to the venza by any means, like the ride look etc;

thanks

A: Yes you are paying 40 grand for a Toyota Camry.

Q: What kind of car should my brother get?
My brother wants a used a SUV for $20,000. He is in a band so he needs something with good cargo room because he is in a band and he needs to transport band equipment. He prefers compact SUV because they offer more room than a sedan and they are easier to drive compared to a mid-size or full-size SUV(he’s not a experienced driver). He prefers Honda&Toyota because of their reliability. Definitely no American cars, my family had 3 American cars and they were okay but they were not as nice as Honda&Toyota. He wants something practical, something that has folding rear seats so that he can fold it for maximum trunk space. He wants something with good fuel economy(for a SUV) and good traction. He is considering these cars:

Toyota RAV4
Toyota Venza
Toyota Highlander
Toyota Highlander Hybrid(maybe, if he can find a good deal on it)
Honda CR-V

Which one would you suggest and why? Feel free to suggest other ones too.

A: You need a real SUV list, I don’t know what kind of band your brother is in but you couldn’t fit a drum set with couple of guitar’s in the back of any of those. Get a real SUV like a Suburban or Excursion. Besides as rich as you sound gas shouldn’t be a problem.

Q: Serious Replies Please…………..?
How much would a 2009 nissan maxima with 34,000 miles and below cost at a NJ auto Auction? Also, how much would a Toyota Venza cost at the Auction?

Serious replies please.

Thank you for your help.

A: Try looking up the cars up on the Kelley Blue Book: www.kbb.com

It has been in print long before it was online, and is usually used to give a rough idea of the retail value of the car.

Q: any car experts around ?
ok so my mom needs a new car because our engine is dead . the kind of car we need should meet these requirements able to seat at least 5 people , from the year 2007 and up , have trunk room , should be from toyota nissan or honda, crystler ( because my mom says she likes the way those cars drive) , and here are some cars in mind mini vans: toyota sienna, crystler town and country, and for SUVs toyota highlander, toyota seqoia, honda pilot, and chevy traverse, and for smaller cars: nissan morano, honda cr-v , and the toyota venza . I hope that that gives you an idea of what you think the best car is. i think its kind of like a vote and we will check out the cars that you guys rate the best!
hey I know that a chevy traverse is a chevy im not stupid .
thanks paul for answering we got a great answer from nada and my mom got her car and she loves it but now my dad wants one lol. but thanks.

A: Chevy Traverse – very good vehicle, based on car chassis, has 3 rows of seats, will seat 5 people comfortably, good cargo space, not bad on gas.

Toyota Highlander – proven reliability, 3 rows of seats, OK overall ride.

Toyota Sienna or Honda Odyssey as my choices for minivan – nothing can beat a minivan in terms of comfortable seating and cargo space.

Nissan Murano may be too small, it has only 2 rows of seats, so max of 5 people but it will be tight in the back seat. But, overall, it is not a bad car.

Honda CR-V will definitely be too small. Toyota Venza may be OK, not sure if you can find 2007, they were recently introduced, so the price may be high. Honda Pilot maybe OK as well but not the latest generation, the interior got very cheap.

My top choice would be a Minivan (Toyota Sienna or Honda Odyssey), followed by Chevy Traverse.

Don’t bother with Chryslers, their quality is on the bottom of the list right now. Good luck

Q: Help Me Choose Which Car To Buy!?
im thinking about toyota prius but some say its too slow and has a weak engine but can really save some gas.. but also considering Honda CRV i looks cool and . idc bout the gas mileageof crv. but which is really better? or is camry fine? which is the best? (do u know anything about toyota venza? its to be released late 2008)
(please if u dont know anything about cars dont answer.. i need real answers from people who knows)

and hmm why does people make fun of prius?

A: Steve Wozniak (former owner of Apple Computer) was ticketed by the California Highway Patrol for doing 105mph in his Prius: http://www.autobloggreen.com/2007/08/21/woz-gets-700-ticket-for-going-105-mph-in-a-prius/

There goes the “Prius too slow” myth.

The Prius might have just a 1.5L engine, but it can combine power from the electrical motor when needed to put out a total of 110 horsepower. It drives like any normal sensible 4-cylinder family sedan. Same 0-60 acceleration as a base-model Corolla with auto tranny, 10 seconds, but the Prius is bigger with the same amount of interior space as a Camry (96 cubic feet).

Q: i need help choosing which car to buy?
im thinking about toyota prius but some say its too slow and has a weak engine but can really save some gas.. but also considering Honda CRV i looks cool and atleast manlier that prius (lol). idc bout the gas mileageof crv. but which is really better? or is camry fine? which is the best? (do u know anything about toyota venza? its to be released late 2008)
(please if u dont know anything about cars dont answer.. i need real answers from people who knows)
more answers please and thanks for the prev answers .. u have any idea how much is Toyota Venza when it comes out?

A: If you are DEFINITELY buying a new car, DEFINITELY not going used, and cannot consider keeping your old car, then a Prius is a good deal. You should test drive it first to make sure you can stand driving it, of course.

SUVs are not “manly.” They are the vehicles of idiots who think OH NO, I CANT BE SEEN IN A MINIVAN DOING THINGS THAT PEOPLE DO IN MINIVANS. Therefore the exact same stigma attaches.

Even small SUVs carry that to some extent.

Regardless, if you’re looking a AWD CRVs, consider a Subaru Forester or Outback. Their AWD is vastly superior.

For fuel economy: Fueleconomy.gov is a good site for comparisons. If you don’t live in the US, you may have to convert to imperial MPG or metric (you can do that using google), and you’ll have to be sure you’re looking at models with the same engines. But it will still give you good model-to-model comparisons, if not actual mileage in your area.

Yes, a Camry is fine.

If you’re going to consider a Camry, ANYTHING reliable is fine. (Driving a Camry is a sign that you are dead inside.)

Q: Serious Replies Please…………..?
How much would a 2009 nissan maxima with 34,000 miles and below cost at a NJ auto Auction? Also, how much would a Toyota Venza cost at the Auction?

Serious replies please.

Thank you for your help.

A: Anywhere between 2 bucks and ten grand. Seriously.

Q: Cars for my son… Looking for advice…help me?
Okay so I’m probably going to get him a sedan or small suv/crossover.
Please let me know what you think of the cars that I’m debating. You can also add another car to the list if you think it’s worth considering. It biggest concerns are safety, reliablility, and overal quality.
Sedans:
Ford Fusion
Ford Fusion Hybrid 2010
Honda Accord
Honda Accord Hybrid
VW Jetta
VW GTI

Small SUV’s/Crossovers:
Ford Escape
Ford Escape Hybrid
Ford Edge
VW Tiguan
Toyota Venza

Please let me know what you think of these and what other cars I should consider!! Thank youuuuu!!!!!

A: I would think rather a Ford Escape with AWD or a Ford Fusion with AWD. These vehicles are really reliable, some of the safest vehicles on the road and in case he ever runs into bad weather such as snow and rain the AWD will be there ready to kick in to prevent slippage. I find that there is way to much hard plastic in Honda’s and as well they struggle in bad weather such as snow and icy roads and VWs are not the most reliable vehicles out there and maintenance on them can be fairly pricey.

Q: custom wheels and alignment?
I have replaced the wheels on my 2009 Toyota Venza front wheel-drive from the original factory of: 245/50/20 with rims of 7.5″/20″ offset +38 to a new set of: 265/40/22 with rims of 9.5″/22″ offset +40. Now with the new rims and wheels, whenever I brake, it pulls to the sides but mostly on the left side. After the change of wheels, I have never realigned to the new wheels. My question is why the steering is pulled to the sides when I brake, and if the different offset that makes the pull, then should I make realignment to adjust it? Or it maybe some other problem. Please give me some idea. Thank you very much

A: The different offset wheels have produced what is called scrub radius in your suspension. Scrub radius acts as a lever that pulls on your suspension when you brake. It’s difficult to explain, do some research. There’s not real much you can do about it except find wheels with the correct offset.

Q: American developed and manufactured Japanese cars sold in America are slacking off in quality?
For example:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3Mza5KYPSo

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Venza

http://autos.canada.com/news/story.html?id=2af01ae9-f78f-4309-93b3-01e0b4e4b0dd
1st answerer: that’s not true. In Asia, Toyota sells the Aurion, in Europe it’s the Avensis, the Camry is American developed and manufactured and sold only in the Americas.

A: Japanese cars made in America are the same as Japanese cars made anywhere else.

They use the exact same materials, design, and machines to build cars and they do it in the same way everywhere.

Q: How about those folks buying 19 MPG SUV’s & F-150’s with Cash For Clunkers money?
Way to game the system.

I thought I was doing good getting $4,600 to buy a 2009 Toyota Venza AWD.

But some people are buying 19 MPG Cadillac SUV’s with their Cash For Clunkers money, albeit “only $3500″.

You can trade in a van that gets 17 MPG for a new van, truck or SUV that only gets 19 MPG.

LMAO

http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5j8bGAZqx0ymxSAs5wayeLNRjMSTgD9A25P4G1
And here is the original Edmunds article
http://www.edmunds.com/help/about/press/154387/article.html
Attention rude people with the wiseguy answers:

The DOT’s list is wrong and the top 10 list actually is this. Note only 3 are compact cars.

1. Ford Escape
2. Ford Focus
3. Jeep Patriot
4. Dodge Caliber
5. Ford F-150
6. Honda Civic
7. Chevrolet Silverado
8. Chevrolet Cobalt
9. Toyota Corolla
10. Ford Fusion

http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/edmunds-dots-cash-for-clunkers-top-ten-list-gets-it-wrong/

A: Yes, but vehicle emissions have also dramatically improved, not merely just the fuel economy.

Q: How come VW cars work well with the first few years of purchase and then end up having problems?
I’ve noticed this not just from my dad (who knows car quality inside and out) but from other people who aren’t as knowledgable about cars as my dad is.

We had a car show a few days ago and I really liked the VW Passat (I like the way VW cars look regardless of model) but what “breaks my heart” about the whole thing is that people have complained about the quality of VW cars.

My boss almost bought a VW car but opted not to after she found out the number of complaints people had about VWs in general.

So are VWs really unreliable or are people just being whiny? Are they really hard to maintain after a few years of ownership (being in and out of the mechanic’s shop)?

Any help on this? I’m not buying a VW anytime soon but I love the look and feel of the cars themselves. And what makes Japanese-produced vehicles such as the Mazda 3 (which is a great car, IMHO) and the Toyota Venza (another great car) better in quality?

A: Quality and Reliability are different.

Quality is how well the car is made in terms of build quality and materials.
VW has great quality because of the nice interior made of nice materials and the interior lasts long.

Reliability is good for VW’s mechanically.

But all German cars have the electrical problems. Fuses that mess up the transmission or lights burning out fast.

Engines are good and last long.

Mazda 3 is just as good in quality.
Toyota is not as good in quality. Interior looks pretty cheap compared to Mazda and VW.

Q: What would you think of a 16 year old driving a Porsche cayenne turbo?
I am currently 15, and my dad is looking to purchase a porsche Panamera, and is thinking about keeping his old cayenne and letting me drive it as my first car. I know a cayenne is a fast car, and not recommendable to a new unexperienced driver. However I don’t showboat, and I would never dream of drinking and driving because many of my dad’s high school friends died that way.

A: k guys wtf you talking about, maintenance and that crap. he said his dad is buying a Panamera AND thinking of keeping his old cayenne. so obviously hes got money. so if anything goes wrong with that cayenne HIS FATHER will pay for the repairs not him

ANSWER TO THE QUESTION: its a good car but its a bit too big for a teenager because teenagers do stuff no one can expect (talking from personal experience). i suggest you ask your dad to trade it for another car (dont mean that rubbish civic or any of that lvl) like cayman. if not its a good car you take your friends with you and chill around

Q: have you seen the new porsche wagon?
http://www.seriouswheels.com/2010/nopq/2010-Porsche-Panamera-Turbo-Side-1024×768.htm

why did they even bother. it looks so gay

A: so ugly

Q: What do you think of the new 5-door porsche?
What’s your opinions?

http://uk.cars.yahoo.com/13022009/36/porsche-reveals-panamera-s-insides-0.html

A: It is not the most beautiful car Porsche has produced but I bet it is a good to drive and is amazingly capacious inside.

Q: For Porsche enthusiasts, why do you like Porsche so much ?
Dont get me wrong,I’m also a fan of Porsche,I just wanna know how you guys (Porsche fans) think about Porsche. What makes Porsche so special from other cars ? What makes the Cayenne,Panamera,911,Cayman,Boxster different from other cars. Also, what color do you want to have if you have any Porsche ?

A: I have a silver Boxster with black leather which I drive on a race track regularly (about 18 times a year).

Porsche’s well known for high performance engines, outstanding handling characteristics, and classic design. Porsche’s always incorporate the latest in automotive technology and many times Porsche actually invents the technology that everyone else copy’s later.

Porsche’s are not trendy or are part of some kind of fad. They stand the test of time. They are the gold standard of the automotive world.

I also own two BMW’s and while BMW’s are very nice cars they do not drive as well as my Porsche.

Q: Anyone at least appreciate the new Accord’s stlying ?
I’m tired of hearing bad comments at the new car, only heard a few. Even at the new Porsche Panamera.

A: the new Accord Coupe is great. The sedan is a mild upgrade and that’s all you can ask of Honda. Let’s face it–the Accord is the best selling sedan (or second best selling sedan depending on the year) and Honda would be tempting fate by doing any dramatic remodels on the sedan when all the competiton i.e. Camry is doing is a mild upgrade.

When you’re in the heart of the volume market you don’t mess with success. I do like the side sculpture line that they brought in from the Acura models to set the side off more. And I think the coupe is a wonderful departure and is an example of a dramatic change but the volume on the coupe is only a fraction of the total Accord sales and if its not accepted at retail then it won’t hurt Honda too much.

I think Honda did the right thing in the styling of the new Accord given its competition and its target market.

Q: What is the best German full size car in terms of luxury?
BMW 760 Li?
Mercedes- Benz S-65 AMG?
Audi A8?
Volkswagen Phaeton?
Porsche Panamera S?

A: The Mercedes-benz S-class AMG! Have you ever sat in one? WOW its amazing. The BMW is also great, but it cant beat the s-class’s high comfort and luxury levels. The VW isn’t that great….I have no idea why you even listed that! Mercedes-benz S65 AMG IS the best! I want to be driven in one everyday!

Q: Should I get the Panamera S?
Hmm I don’t like talking to car salesmen because they’re not going to tell me the truth. I don’t have time to read too many reviews. I live in a place where it snows a lot. What are somethings I should know about the car

http://www.porsche.com/microsite/panamera/international.aspx

A: I’ll keep it simple: the car is very beautiful (I’ve looked at and sat in one on the Dealer floor.); quite comfortable for four people (It has two bucket seats in the rear, rather than a bench.), with plenty of rear leg room; they’re all wheel drive; and they are not cheap to buy, but I’m guessing you already know that.

I’ve owned Porsche 911s for a long time. 911s are virtually bullet proof. The 4.8 litre V8 in your Panamera S is essentially the engine Porsche has put in their Cayenne for years — enough years to wring all the bugs out of it. I’d expect your new Panamera to be bullet proof too.

The cars are not as expensive to maintain as many people believe. It’s the original buying that costs a lot.

ADDED:
As an alternate, you might want to consider the Cadillac CTS-V (yes, Cadillac).

http://www.cadillac.com/vehicles/2010/cts-v/overview.do

ADDED:
Bob is correct regarding the all wheel drive. I was thinking of the 4S, which is all-wheel drive (as is the Turbo). Bob is wrong regarding maintenance of 911s. I’ve owned them for seven years now. My first, a 1996 coupe (rear drive), I owned for 5.5 years with the following maintenance and repairs: one oil change per year; I replaced the switch for the rear wiper; I had the rubber trim surrounding the rear window reattached; and I replaced the rubber cover on the brake pedal. I’ve owned my 2005 Turbo S coupe for nearly 2 years now. I’ve changed the oil once and will do so again soon.

I’ve run both of these cars on my local track. I have seen 150 mph in the Turbo S. These cars were not expensive to own. The Turbo is expensive to insure; however, with a good driving record, my normally aspirated car cost about the same to insure as my daily driver — a Subaru Outback.

Q: Porsche owners what is your biggest problem with your car?
I have Panamera Turbo and my biggest problem was I didn’t want a turbo, I wanted the Panamera S but I had to upgrade to Turbo for the all wheel drive. The thing is it’s a sedan and all wheel drive should have been standard in all models but no! Other than that it’s a very reliable car and I drive it everyday and surprisingly it has not been too expensive to maintain. I really want to buy my mom a Porsche [not a Panamera], maybe a 911 or a Boxster and I want to know the cons and pros if you feel like telling me ! Please tell me what model you own as well.

A: So, what was wrong with the Panamera 4S? That is all wheel drive and saves you well over $35,000 versus the Panamera Turbo. Porsche builds RWD cars for those who prefer them or believe the price savings is worth it in their case, and for those few consummate drivers among us who can wring the most performance out of their 911 on the track with a RWD car like the GT3 or even the GT2.

The biggest problem I have with my 2005 Porsche 911 Turbo S coupe (AWD) is that I want to drive it all of the time, even when I should take my Subaru Outback. I’m afraid to leave my Porsche parked just anywhere, and I prefer to keep it out of the weather.

Q: Ay, I’m 17 and l finally have the money for a really good car but cant decide on what to get…?
Ok here are the choices i have a Dodge Challenger 09′ with a bad ass supercharger or a Porsche Panamera 09′ 4 doors. or an Aston Martin db9 2010′ version plez straight answers.

oh and don’t let the picture deceive you :I AM A GUY:
Dont ask how i got the money just be nice please

A: wow, lemonade stands must really be booming!

Q: Should Porsche stick to sports cars?
Having seen the first offical pictures of the new 4 door Panamera, it’s plain for all to see that it fell out of the same ugly tree as the Cayenne,

So my question is if it had a Korean / Malaysian badge on it would you buy it,
How many people will buy it purely because it says Porsche and have a taste bypass at the same time.
For those who do not know what it looks like here is a link.

http://uk.search.cars.yahoo.com/bin/search/photos_gallery_uk/cars/?m=y&p=cat:photos_cars+Porsche

For those of a nervous disposition do not follow the link or let young children see the images of the Porsche Panamera it could give them nightmares for years.

A: Eventhough the Cayenne is not a looker, it instantly became the worlds best selling SUV for 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007.

People do not care how Porsche’s look.

They make great sports car.
My favorite car in the world is the Porsche Cayman S.

I would buy it if it had a different badge, as long as I know that it was engineered by Porsche.

Q: Does anybody know what rims these are?
http://www.jameslist.com/advert/222767/for-sale-porsche-panamera

Thanks in advance.

A: those are made by porsche,a cheaper alternative would be Lenso, Mean 6’s

Q: whats the best LUXURY gt?
best luxury grand tourer…for cross country trips etc?

im talkin cars like aston martin dbs…porsche panamera…bentley continental gt…merc cls..etc etc

the big league!

what do you think is the best luxury gt (doesnt have to be one i mentioned) ?

A: Seems the boys at Top Gear have recently decided to find out. They pitched the Aston Martin DBS Volante against the Ferrari California and Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder.

It depends on what you like and define as “luxury.” Personally, I would prefer a Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet to something like the Bentley Continental GTC, I don’t have much luggage so the small boot is a minimal concern and Porsche offers a staggering array of luxury options.

Other cars that I would consider GTs: BMW M6, BMW 860i, Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG, Jaguar XKR, Jaguar XJS, Cadillac XLR-V, Bentley Azure T, Lexus SC430

Q: If you could own any twelve cars (one for each month)…?
Which would you choose?
Here are my picks:

Bentley R-type Continental
Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
Chevrolet Stingray Corvette
Ford GT
Porsche Carrera GT
AC Cobra
Porsche Panamera
Lancia Aurelia B20
Porsche 356
BMW 507
Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato

A: 1966 427 Cobra
1966 427 Corvette
1970 Buick GS Stage 1
1968 427 Corvette
1968 Hemi Charger
1969 Hemi Road Runner
1969 Hemi Charger 500
1971 Hemi Super Bee
1970 Hemi ‘Cuda
1965 Catalina 2+2
1969 Super Bee Six-Pack
1971 Boss 351 Mustang

Q: From a scale of 0 – 10, how would you rate this car?
Porsche Panamera

http://www.webhush.com/wp-content/uploads/porsche-panamera-in-india.jpg

http://www.channel4.com/4car/media/features/2009/porsche-panamera-first-ride/03-large/09-porsche-panamera-s-a.jpg

http://www.superst4r.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/porsche-panamera.jpg
The ‘S’ model will deliver 400 hp from a 4.8-liter V8, and the Turbo variant will offer an estimated 500 horses.

The Panamera S will start at $89,000, while the all-wheel-drive 4S will cost $93,800. The Turbo will ring in at $132,600, which is slightly more than a Cayenne Turbo. U.S. sales are to begin in October.

A: 5.5. it looks a little ugly and th prices r high. otherwise, its a good car. if i had 2 buy 1, i would buy it in blue in th S package.

Q: Do you like these cars?
http://www.bmwblog.com/wp-content/uploads/porsche_panamera_807.jpg
which one is better?

A: The first one.

Q: Who has a Nissan GT-R?
Who has a Nissan GT-R? Just wondering b/c I’m about to buy one this week

A: I work on them at a North Texas Nissan Dealership. Better have the car completely checked out. R-35 Nissan GT-R are great cars and super complex. There are on board data recorders and many service bulletins and a couple recalls. Very expensive to own and operate but a great driving car. Don’t look for a spare tire. Have a good Day and good luck with the new car.

Q: What is a better and faster car? Nissan GT-R or Ford Mustang Shelby GT-500 Super Snake?

A: It isn’t a matter of opinion… The GT-R is a lot faster than the Super Snake. The problem with the Shelby is that the tires it ships on really don’t handle the 750 horsepower well. Maybe on slicks it would beat the GT-R in a straight line. But even through the twisties I would always bet on the Nissan. But I don’t like the GT-R because I don’t dig the AWD, easy to drive, high tech sports car approach. I don’t care for the Mustang either, but I’d still rather have it than the GT-R.

Q: Where can I buy a 1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R Vspec II?
Only serious people answer.
I don’t care what country I get it from, or what condition it is in, just need complete detail on exactly where to get it.

A: Serious person answer:
Your best bet to BUY one is to go to Japan. You could drive it there, and then sell it when you leave.
If you really want to drive one on public roads in the USA, though, you are in for a pile of hassle, as well as money.
They were never imported to the US.
Because they have their turbocharger on the left side of the engine, the steering column cannot be relocated to the left side for use in the USA without complete redesign. You might be able to ignore the right-hand drive, but then you still have to get it past the safety and emissions people.

Q: what is the 1/4 mile and mph during the 1/4 mile of the 2009 Nissan GT-R?
2009 Nissan Skyline GT-R

A: 11.6 seconds at 120mph

Q: what would u think if u c a Nissan GT-R looking car on the street?
so i looked around and u can buy a body kit for Nissan altima 2009+ and make it look exactly like Nissan GT-R…by just looking into the car u will just be able to tell the difference since the interior has differences and obviously the car performance is a big difference
so what would u think if u c and know that the “GT-R” is actually the altima

http://www.aitracing.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=34_356&products_id=1933

A: Why would you do that. First of all thats a waste of money and makes you a tool for trying to make an altima look like a GT-R. And only the front looks like a GT-R the side and rear look nothing like it at all

Q: Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R, Nissan Sylvia, Nissan 350 Z, Mazda RX8 or Mitsubishi Lancer EVO? Which do you prefer?

A: chevy_man_rob didnt see that choice

All great cars and each are great in there own way.to
me

Skyline loves these car had the r32 and have the r33 and would love the r34 next.Say what people say these are great cars and its not until you have drove on you feel its greatness and love the head turning looks.a deff first.any model..

evo friend has the evo 6 and great cars wife wants one next time.

silvia depends which one tho to ranking.Great cars had the s13 but love the others in the range wouldnt say no to any.

350z love these cars 2 on same road as me and look great and look great modded.

rx8 looks nice would have to mod tho as look great when well kitted up.

Q: does need for speed pro street for the playstation 2 have the nissan gt-r proto?

A: yes it does plus the real deal gtr

Q: Nissan GT-R Price? How much would it cost per monthly payment?
How much would this car cost per monthly payment? How much would it cost overall? Give me some examples

A: 80K, $900-1200 p/m

Q: I’m deciding between 2 cars, 2009 Nissan Skyline GT-R or 2008 Dodge Challenger?
Okay I know a lot about vehicles, engines, and that kinda bull, but i want to hear some guys or gals, that have EXPERIENCE in the field of cars, I’m looking for power, comfortableness, control, and stick shift. I’m not to big on the price, shouldn’t be a problem for anything under 150k. Here is what I know The Nissan GT-R has a kick ASS VR38DETT engine, a 3,799 cc DOHC V6. Two parallel Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries turbochargers provide forced induction. off the factory line this engine outputs 480 bhp at 6400 rpm and 434 lb·ft at 3200-5200 rpm. The Dodge Challenger also has a kick ASS, 6.1-liter SRT hemi V8, 425 horses, and 420 LB/FT. What do you guys think. REMEMBER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION, NO FRICKEN 12 YEAR OLDS!

A: Porsche many people like the Porsche but it is common place now days there are loads around here and its now just like many other performance cars that are popular they just become common.
I realised this a few years ago when we went to a car show and the Porsche and Ferrari stand had few people looking around it and they where really young and the really old, then to finish it off one owner was riding up and down and revving the car like made to gain some attention he had 4 young ladies sat in the car also, but after a while even there smiles fell as people have difference is taste now days.(no tan opinion
but attend car shows every year and there are Porsche and Ferrari owners around here).

The Nissan is well before its time as has all the GTR been, even now many cars do not carry the advancements in technology which even the older GTR’s had as standard.Overall this is a supercar for littel mney once again as other gtr’s have been in the past.

Against the Challenger try them both as iam rusty on the challenger but i have added a review as i have with the GT-R which may help you.

Q: Any one knows where to find the head lights for a Nissan skyline gt-r r34 1999????????
Im looking to do something interesting with my car that no one else has!

A: Where do you live there are plenty of Skyline breakers in the UK have links if it will help.IE

http://www.jappartsuk.co.uk/

Iam sure shipping would not be a problem if needed.

Q: Should I wait till 2008 and decided between a Nissan GT-R or BMW M3 to buy a car?
Or what 2007 car seems resonable

A: Honestly my answer is yes its worth the wait but it will be more closer to a year or even a year and a half.

the BMW M3 will kick ass (400HP) http://www.caranddriver.com/autoshows/12525/2008-bmw-m3.html

This is the latest on the skyline (app 500hp or even more unconfirmed yet) and it just might kick more ass than the M3 http://www.caranddriver.com/carnews/12048/spied-2009-nissan-skyline-gt-r.html

or you could get a temp car on a 2-3year lease on a 350z or the new corvette which is amazing! The porsche boxster S or the cayman are simply amazing to drive. Those are a few choices.

Its up to you, right now you cant beat the Corvette for its bang for the buck, the Z06 even keeps up with the super cars with 500 hp for just for 65k! thats the most amazing deal and on top of that the Z06 can handle and its the best performance bargain in the world!
that would be my best bet if u cant wait.

If u need more doors then id suggest the the Audi Rs4 which beats the current M3 check out the comparison test http://www.caranddriver.com/comparisons/9846/comparison-test-review-audi-rs-4-quattro-vs-bmw-m3-vs-mercedes-benz-c55-amg.html

I would suggest a few other cars but i dont know what your price range is at… hope this info helps.

Q: how can i tune my nissan skyline r33 gt-r to make it 820hp.?
my gt-r is 810hp but i wanna make it 820hp but i don’t have anymore parts to install in the engine

A: Did you forget to change the oil? You should know to change the oil anytime you get a new car. Its always worth quite a few hp!

Q: If a 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II (R34) was imported directly from Japan would it be legal?
If not what would you need to do to make it legal, how much would this cost?

A: Depends on what state your in. If your in canada, it shouldnt be illegal. Just check with your state, see if it is or not, and if not, expect to pay a fortune to get the necissary conversions, and get it inspected again and all that paperwork.

Q: Is a Nissan GT-R and a Nissan Skyline GT-R the same car?

A: Yes and No.

The new Nissan GT-R replaced the Skyline GT-R. They dropped the Skyline name for a couple of reasons.

1. The Infiniti G35 Coupe is known as the Nissan Skyline in Japan so they gave the name to another car.
2. Skyline is not a supercar name. They wanted to be serious with their new sports car so they simply called it the GT-R.

Q: Everyone says V8 over V6. Can someone find me a V8 equipped with AWD that can beat the 09 Nissan GT-R?
Not really enough room to give detail in the initial question. What I am trying to ask is does anyone know of a V8 powered automobile built for under $80,000 that can beat the Nissan GT-R all out in the straight away, the turns, the drifts, and any other type of racing? I am pretty sure if you invested up to $80,000 total into a V8 powered car you could definitely beat it in at least the straight away, but I doubt in a tight curvy circuit track the car would do very good. But I want to get my moneys worth. The car has to have suspension comparable in quality to the GT-R. It would also have to be AWD. And to make it fair, they say the transmission alone is worth $17,000 on the car, so equip the V8 monster with a 6 speed semi automatic dual clutch racing tranny. To make things better, please take into consideration that a new GT-R comes with a 10 year 100,000 miles powertrain warranty! I know I’m going to get some snobby answers, and alot of people are going to call me stupid, but come one! What is yahoo answers for?

A: The only cars that I can think of would be either an AWD Infiniti G35 coupe or an Audi S4. I know that the G comes with only a V6, but with some modification, you could drop a V8 under the hood and even supercharge or turbo charge it. I’d have said a Mitsubishi Evo or a Subaru WRX, but I don’t think you could fit a V8 in those cars. And if you hadn’t said that AWD is required, I’d have definitely recommended the Corvette. But the AWD does complicate things (gives advantage to cars that have it and cannot be added to other cars easily). But the thing that I get from your question is that it once again reminds me how an incredible deal the GT-R is. The GT-R is the super car of all super cars. It may not be as beautiful as a Ferrari or a Corvette; it may not be as fun as a Porsche 911 (with a manual transmission) and it may not be the fastest super car, but for the value and performance that it offers, it is one of the greatest cars ever made. Period.

Q: What is the point of the circle of shag carpet on the dashboard of the Nissan Cube?
I don’t get it. What is the point? Is it removable? I love the car but that is a deal breaker!

A: The shag circle actually holds your sunglasses and keys. It is installed with self adheasive velcro. I do not install the shag unless the owner wants it. it comes in a plastic bag in the trunk with the wheel covers.

Q: I just bought a new Nissan Cube and no holes for plates in front?
Is it legal to drive in CA without a front license plate? My car doesn’t have the holes to put them on and I received two plates from the DMV.

A: Many dealers do not install that black plastic thing (licence plate bracket) in the back of the car and that round black and white shag carpet round thing onto the dash. There are two small dimples in the front bumper cover where the screws hold that bracket on. You can be pulled over for no licence plate up front.

Q: Can the rear seats in a Nissan Cube be removed?
Can the rear seats in a Cube be removed? I know they fold down, but can they be easily taken out? Or are bolted in?
Thanks,
Judy

A: I just reviewed 48 pages of seats in the CUBE owners hand book the seats section because they slide fore and aft and have seat belts comming thru the middle cannot easily be removed. Because they are bolted down. Safety issues if the rear sear is not properly fixed in place and a wreck happens I guess. Good Luck

Q: What are the Nissan Cube Krom 2009 speaker sizes?
I was being an idiot and I blew one of my speakers. I’m going to get it replaced but I can’t find how big the speaker on the front passenger side is. I would also like to know what brand of speaker is in there. It’s all stock audio equipment. I would take off the door but I don’t want to mess anything up. Also, does anyone know of any good car audio installers in Oklahoma City? Thanks.

A: Speaker size:
6-1/2

Some Cube’s come with a Rockford Fosgate system installed.

Q: Do you think the Nissan Cube is too expensive for what you get?
Enjoyed the car. It drove well. But for over $18,000 it seems way too pricey for what you get.
PLEASE tell me your thoughts on what you might purchase for under $18,000 and why.
Thanks!

A: a well maintained rsx type-s. because it’s fast & reliable.

the cube looks like something out of a dr. seuss book. just not for me i guess

Q: Where can i buy the Nissan Cube funky design of the year 2010 magazine?
?

A: Ebay

Q: Would it be strange for me to own and drive the Nissan Cube?
I’m a male teen, and I really like this car. Would it look unusual for me to drive it?

A: Yes. That is the ugliest car I have ever seen. It looks very gay. So if you are gay then put your rainbow sticker on it and roll on.

Q: I have a 2009 Nissan Cube and I hear a whopping noise by front tire. Is anyone else having this problem?
I purchased a cube last year and i have been hearing a whopping noise by the front tire. I usually only hear it when i go straight and 20 mph. i got it in September, but as time goes by the noise gets louder. i brought it into the dealership today, and they said all 2009 cubes make that noise. I just wanted to know what everybody else thought, because it doesn’t sound right to me.

A: Seems all the Japanese companies have forgotten about customer relations. Have the tire checked for a broken belt.

Q: Do I want a Nissan Cube or Juke for my next car?
I need something odd looking to match my personality.

A: I would say the nissan Juke because it looks more fancy and the shape is like cool lol.

Q: What do you guys thing of the new Nissan Cube?
i think it’s spiffy and kind of looking into one. I think they are very futuristic-looking and just different. What do you think?

A: I dislike people who say it’s ugly and you shouldn’t get it because it’s ugly. My brother just bought one. It’s a very great car. I thought it would be very sluggish, but it’s very good at handling. Very roomy and great for family/dogs/friends. It definately attracts attention I would say. Now from looking at it often, I think it looks cute.

Q: Where can I find styling parts for my 2003 Nissan Cube?
I am looking for a bodykit and other parts for my car. Any help would be very much appriciated

A: West Coast Tuner shop
they have it all

Q: What do you guys think of the Nissan Cube cars?
Personally, I like them because they stand out from all of the other cars out today.
But some people think they are really ugly so….

A: I’m in the camp that says they’re ugly. Cars ought to look streamlined and sleek, not like two rectangles stuck to each other. Plus, what’s with that weird wraparound back window?

Q: Who else thinks the Nissan Cube is the ugliest car ever built?
Seriously!

A: When The Scion XB was introduced everyone I knew hated it, just think of the Nissan Cube as the new Scion XB. You’ll get used to it.

Q: Why don’t people like the nissan cube , is there mechanical problems?
I really want to get one. But everyone asks me why I like that pos but they never tell me why they aren’t good.

A: I personally think it’s ugly, and I think that is why people don’t like them. The Cube was introduced in 1998 in Europe and Japan, so I would think that they have worked out any bugs. I think the only problem people have with the Cube is its looks, so if you like it, go ahead and get one.

Q: Does the US Spec Nissan Cube have 4 wheel drive?
I believe that is an option available in Japan, but is it available in on the US Spec Cubes?

A: No USA spec Cubes do not have 4×4 option. Rogue is the smallest 4×4 in the USA and it is a really good CUV cross over utility vehicle.
