Q: How dark should I tint my windows? Hyundai Genesis Coupe in Florida.?
I have a new Hyundai Genesis Coupe and I live in Florida. How dark should I tint my windows? I want them as dark as posssible, but I still want to be able to see. I’m in my 20s, good vision, first new car I bought. I hear 5% is limo and illegal, but 20% is the next best thing. What should I do? Do people tint the rear windshield and front windshield as well?
A: 20% is da best! especially since you have a nice car
Q: What do you think about the new Hyundai Genesis?
The new 2009 Genesis V8 with 368hp is awesome and looks to be a BMW 3, Infiniti G, and Lexus GS killer. Anybody have any thoughts about it?
It was one of the Superbowl commercials.
A: It is nice,
But, it will not compete with the Infiniti G or BMW 3.
The Infiniti G competes with the BMW 3 series, Audi A4, Acura TSX, Mercedes C class, and Lexus IS series.
The Hyundai Genesis competes with Lexus GS, BMW 5 series, Audi A6, Acura TL, and Mercedes E class.
Q: What was a reaction to the Hyundai Genesis?
To me, I thought it was a really cool Car, which will begin sales in the early spring 2008, and the design was super duper good for the hyundai and this kind of car is you have to see it for real, not by videos or pictures. well the Tau engine has many horsepower and can reach 60mph in less than 6 secs.! well they haven’t posted the inside pics. but they say it is good as M-Benz S class!
A: That 1st dork must have been looking at a Sonata, the Genesis is as beautiful as a 750i and basically as big and powerful. It also has almost all of the features found on the 750i, just not the $75,000 price tag. A fully loaded Genesis should cost around $40,000 which less then a RL/M45/GS430. I can’t wait to see the reviews next year, see if it lives up to the hype.
Q: Is the Hyundai Genesis the same as the 2009 Hyundai Tiburon?
I was wondering if the future car Hyundai Genesis was a new name for the future Hyundai Tiburon.
A: Totally different vehicles, Genesis is the ultra luxury sedan that will compete with the E series and 5 series cars if not S/7 series German luxury cars. Genesis is due out in Spring 2008 and is the next model up from the Azera luxury sedan.
The new Tiburon will finally give Hyundai a sportcar instead of just a sporty car. The 2010 Tiburon due in 2009 will be able to compete with the 370Z/G37, Mustang and Camero if they do have a V8 version. There’s very little info on this car so far other then it will be RWD and come standard with a V6 of unknown size (hopefully a brand new more fuel effecient motor).
I think both of these cars could be a bit of a risk as Hyundai is really upping their engines and with gas prices unlikely to come down and no Hybrid models coming (as far as I know) Hyundai is a bit behind others in fuel economy.
Q: thinking about buying either an Infiniti g37s or a hyundai genesis coupe?
ive been going back n forth on these two cars for a while now, i really cant seem to decide, they are both almost identical in features, and when i say the genesis coupe i mean the 3.8 liter one ( think its around 33000) …but anyways whats your opinions ?
A: dont listen to the dude who answered first. he has no idea about genesis’
Genesis Coupe
-New design
-built to beat/overcome the g37
-back seats are comfortable for a 2 door sportscar
cons:
the manuel transmission isnt as good as most. too choppy-ish and its harder
Infitini
-built by infiniti, owned by nissan (obviously good car company)
-idk much about them lol
-the design has been around for a few years (g35)
well whatever, wish i could have said more on the infiniti.
well id go with the genesis
Cons;
Q: Is the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 4 cylender good for speed?
I read that it only does 0-60 in 6.9 seconds. Im talking about the most basic stock 4 cylender version. Is basically 7 seconds a good 0-60 time? Will I win any drags against cars in this price range? Is it too slow? Because I had it in my head that anything above 5 seconds is too slow, but am I wrong?
A: Out the box it’s decently quick but not fast. The good news is that the engine being used in the 4 cyl is highly tunable. If your willing to put the time and money into it you can have a fast car.
Q: What are the dimensions for a hyundai genesis coupe emblem?
For the front and the rear? The original H emblem as well as the winged emblem? (Well technically they’re supposed to be the same)
A: 3.5″ by 2.5″
Why do you ask?
Q: What is the name of the artist and song used in the new hyundai genesis comercials?
I know it’s been used before in the soundtrack for the movie slingblade, but I want to find out the name of the artist and the actual name of the song. Thanks!
A: FOL by Smashing Pumpkins

Q: What’s the difference between the Hyundai Genesis Coupe and the Tiburon?
which is better?
A: The only common thing is that both body style have been designed by Ferrari. Otherwise nothing else will bi similar. tiburon had 2.o L DOHC or 2.7L engine V6 front wheel drive. Genesis comes with 2.0L turbo engine or 3.8L V6 engine with rear wheel drive. Body style and futures are totally different with more bells and whistle in the Genesis. Keep in mind, Genesis won best car of the 09 models. They beat up big names like toyota, honda and cadillac. Genesis more expensive but overhaul, is cheap when you look at what you get for your money. No regrets buying a Genesis
Q: Im crazy over the new 2009 Hyundai Genesis that recently came out. I am considering purchasing it or financing?
it. The current price tag fully loaded is about $38,000 and with todays bad economy and the car dealerships taking such a hit, i was wondering realisticly how much i can walk with this car if i went into a Hyundai dealership in my area?
A: Actually the MSRP on the fully loaded V8 Genesis is $41,250, so if you could get the car for $35,500 that would definitely be a great deal since it is listed as a 2009 and there was no 2008 model. Now, maybe you were considering the V6 to save a couple grand, but I think you should test drive it versus the V8, considering fuel economy is nearly identical and the V8 has some features(ultra premium leather, wood grain wheel, illuminated door sills, chrome moldings) not on the V6, I’d definitely get the best model they had. There are no special offers on the Genesis, so good luck with the dealer, you might want to email their sales department to get the best price.

Q: What is a good oil for my 2010 hyundai genesis coupe?
It is a 2.0 turbo, and mainly back in forth to work in 10 mile radius. Also i don’t exceed 60 mph. Thanks for your help.
A: Like everyone else is saying, use what the owner’s manual states. The only brand I use for my car is Mobile1 Full synthetic.
Congrats on the great buy!
Q: Does the 2011 hyundai genesis coupe track model have the sat nav?
Im pretty sure the G.T. model has it but some people are telling me the track version doesn’t have it.
A: Look on the Hyundai web site for your correct answer…. but while on there the other day, looked like the track model does have it.
Q: What is the exact date when the hyundai genesis comes out?
the sedan and the coupe…i know that the sedan comes out sometime this month and the coupe is coming out before this years end..
A: No word on the Coupe yet. The sedans expected delivery is last week in June….1st week in July.
Beavin is correct on them being pre-sold. We are getting 7 of these and 5 are already sold.
The Training starts the second week of July for sales.
There is no expected ship date on the 4.6 L version as of yet.
Here is the list of the features and also the options that are available and also the pricing that all dealers received last week.

Q: With a hyundai genesis coupe, is there a limit to how much a better engine you could put in there? Aftermarket?
I know cars, but I don’t know how aftermarket engines and such work. Can you just put any engine in any car, have to be same size? Price?
A: Why? First off this car comes in two models. A turbocharged 4 (around 220) and a v6 (300+). The whole purpose of having a stock turbocharged car is to be able to add a bigger turbo (and limited supporting modifications) to make it faster. It doesn’t need a new engine, the block should be good to at least 350 with the current cranktrain, valvetrain, and without having to upgrade drivetrain parts.
But to answer your question. No. You can’t just put any engine in a modern car because the work it takes to make it street legal and interface with the drivetrain components (ie axles) costs too much and you have to completely replace most of the sensors and supporting components (radiator, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, exhaust (if it’s a different diameter)); it’s a pretty stupid thing to do on a car when you can just add an upgraded turbo and dial the boost to 18psi and be in porsche 911 territory (give or take).
Q: How useless are the new hyundai genesis coupe’s rear seat?
Looking to buy one after owning a Jeep.
A: If you have kids, back seats are good. If you want to put adults, they might hit the roof liner. Not very comfy.
With Genesis Coupe you are not gonna “zoom, zoom”. You will be “vroom, vroom”. Translation??? You will enjoy it more than a Mazda
Maybe someone will “enlighten ” you enough to see how dumb you are to believe I’m trying to sell cars. Is not what I do for living and I’m not saying Hyundai is a perfect car. Why is Toyota and Honda looking more over the shoulder to see what Hyundai does? Look at some articles regarding car quality, about repairs per 100 cars and we will talk about after. I do also give technical information to ensure Hyundai owners have a better advise, rather than BS from morons like you and make sure they stay away from “advisers” like you. Rather than talking trash, you might want to concentrate and answer people questions.
I can see you’re not following my answers. Smarten-up and u might be really “enlightened”. No wonder you’ve got only 6% best answer. This tells me a lot and hope will do to others.
